Inferring genetic interactions from comparative fitness data

Our recent paper, where we investigate and settle the question of when higher-order genetic interactions can be detected from fitness rank orders of genotypes, has appeared in eLife. The paper is a result of our ongoing collaboration that Niko and Alex started in 2016 at the Simons Institute in Berkeley. This paper is the first result of the collaboration, with more to come!
