On November 13th, 2023 Andreas Hierlemann delivered the Oliver Brand Memorial Lecture titled "Microphysiological systems and highly integrated microelectrode arrays" at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA. Oliver Brand was a friend and colleague since more than 20 years, when A. Hierlemannn joined the Departments of Pjysics of ETH Zurich in the group of Henry Baltes.
