National Academy of Engineering Elects Professor Martin Fussenegger
The National Academy of Engineering has elected 84 new members and 22 foreign members – one of them is D-BSSE Professor Martin Fussenegger for his contributions to Synthetic Biology and engineered therapeutic gene networks.
The election to the National Academy of Engineering is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer.
Academy membership honors those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice or education and to the pioneering of new fields of technology.
