An R package for ranking variables based on their stability

Description
Detecting all relevant variables from a data set is challenging, especially when only few samples are available and data is noisy. Stability ranking provides improved variable rankings of increased robustness using resampling or subsampling.
Installation
staRank is distributed under the GNU General Public License.
It will be available through Bioconductor (currently under review).
Requirements
The package does not depend on other R packages.
Manual source installation
- Download staRank_0.99.3.tar.gz.
- Type "R CMD INSTALL staRank_0.99.3.tar.gz" on the shell.
Additional Information
After installation you can load the package with
R> library(staRank)
To get help type
R> ?staRank
Two example analysis using stability ranking can be found in
R> vignette("staRank")
