Workshop

• Electronic workshop
  The workshop can develop and manufacture circuits, and complete electronic solutions including integration into mechanical housing according to the input and/or drafts of the scientists. They can also draw draft layouts and manufacture single- and double sided printed circuit boards. This shop can help scientists adapt and interface hardware to each other and support, in case of power management, electromagnetic compatibility and electronic-mechanical solutions.
  

• Mechanic workshop
  The mechanical equipment allows small parts to be physically adapted by turning, milling, drilling, etc. Usually aluminum, plastics and steel are brought here for modification. However, almost all metals can be worked on. With its current resources certain small apparatuses can be repaired at the end of the guarantees or warranties.

The following services are provided by the FIS department:

Poster prints, loan of security-equipment, relocations, archive, technical support during lectures, talks and video conferences, support for event organization, printer maintenance, coordination of repair and service of scientific equipment, inventory, service-agreements, gas-supply, collection of manuals, cool media: LN2/dry ice.
